The Dodgers came off laying an egg last night and rebounded against the bottom feeder Padres. So Jacob Nix took on Rich Hill in a game that the Dodgers needed to correct themselves. The Rockies, Cardinals, and the Braves all won so the Dodgers winning was Paramount. Today was Viva Los Dodgers and Manny Machado bobble-head night. The Dodgers also owed the fans some fireworks since fireworks got cancelled last night. Joc Pederson hit a homerun on the 2nd pitch of the game.

In the bottom of the third, Chris Taylor opened up with a single. Big Joc then hit a ground rule double. The red dream Justin Turner then doubled in two runs and the Dodgers led 3-0. Monster Munce Max Muncy was then hit by pitch. The Smirk Manny Machado then hit a three run shot and the Dodgers led 6-0. Jacob Nix got nixed out of the game at that point. Rich Hill usually averages six runs of support and Rich Hill became the first ten game winner for the Blue Crew.
