Dodgers Promotion Team Featuring 10 Pin Set

The Dodger’s promotion department is at it again with another awesome campaign. This season they are giving away ten retired Dodger pins. The pin set features one retired Dodger’s number on each one. These are pins you can put on your hat, or your shirt, or purses for the ladies.

The first pin night is giving away the Pee Wee Reese pin on May 9 against the Mets. The other pins include Don Sutton #20 on June 4. Roy Campanella’s #39 pm July 5. Walter Alston’s #24 on July 7, Jim Gilliam’s #19 on July 31, Jackie Robinson’s iconic #42 on August 8, Sandy Koufax’s #32 on September 4, Don Drysdale’s # 53 on September 7, and Tommy Lasorda’s number 2 on September 22. September 22 is also Tommy’s 89 birthday. You can get all 10 pins with a mini plan.

  1. Too bad that the many Dodger fans that live around the world (in different locations than Southern California) cannot easily obtain a pin.

    1. Actually they are usually pretty easy to get on ebay…may cost you some coin, but I have seen them there…never have been much of a pin collector…

  2. Another name that should have a retired jersey is Vin Scully. The Dodgers should issue him Jersey #67 on opening day and immediately retire it . We have all listened to Vin since the Dodgers came to LA in 1958. We would all like to see this happen for Vin, to let him know how much he is appreciated by all Dodger and Baseball fans. I hope that this gets passed on to Magic Johnson, Mark Walters, and the rest of the Dodger brass. I know that he has received many other awards over the years, but I believe that this would be the ultimate complement, to a man who has put many a small child and some of us adults to sleep listening to Vin on our transistor radios, over the years. He is one of the main reasons that the Los Angles Dodgers are so popular in Southern California, and Coast to Coast.
