Kenley Jansen is Down, Whats the Dodgers’ Next Move?

The Dodgers have lost Kenley Jansen for at least a month. Where do they go to find a replacement?

Do they use an arm already in the bullpen, or hit the phones looking for a reliever for sale? Should they go right to Kenta Maeda and hope for the best?

  1. I think it’s a bit too late to find a replacement.

I will say, however, that THIS YEAR’s Kenley Jansen is eminently replaceable. I think it’s eirher Fields or (gasp) Walker.

I worry about the innings piled on our relievers’arms most of all. And this could be a blessing in disguise, when the postseason arrives.

  2. The next move is to get Ryu and Urias on board and hope for the best. I don’t like saying it but one of the two ways this could go is we limp to the finish line.
