World Series Game 3-Lineups-Darvish vs. McCullers

Yu Darvish

The World Series shifts to Minute Maid Park in Houston with the series tied at one game each. The Dodgers will be looking to take a 2-1 series lead as they send Yu Darvish to the mound. The Astros will counter with Lance McCullers Jr. With the game in the American League park, the DH will be used by both clubs. The Dodgers will use Joc Pederson as the DH tonight with Enrique Hernandez playing in left field. The Astros are 6-0 at home in the postseason while the Dodgers have won 3 out of 4 games on the road. Here are the lineups for both teams below.

Darvish is 5-5 with a 3.44 ERA in 14 career starts versus the Astros. He’s struck out 118 against 30 walks over 89 innings pitched. In 6 career starts at Minute Maid Park he is 4-1 with a 2.16 ERA.

  1. Bellinger needs to get it together and stop swinging at anything low. I don’t know why we are going with Joc – he’s the same way. We need to stay home on the curveballs and work the count.

    We got very lucky there in the first.

  2. We need to put Seager as DH and Culberson at short. What was that with Puig? Our first base coach looked totally asleep on that while Puig had his head down all the way.

    The team really needs to keep it together here and try to come back in the late innings.

  3. Just the wrong time to get the Darvish we saw when he first came over. Offense never got going. I take Cody out of the cleanup spot ASAP. He looks totally overmatched up there. Give the Astros credit, they did what they had to do. We need to see the Wood we saw in June and July tomorrow. Get it even and then Kersh goes Sunday.
