Philippe’s Restaurant located at 1001 N. Alameda St. in Los Angeles has long been a storied and famous hot spot for Southern California celebrities and locals. Not only because of the great food, but because it is a long and established hang out spot and base of operations for Dodgers fans from all across Los Angeles for many years. Everybody out here has enjoyed their famous French dips at least once in their lives before or after a Dodger game, including yours truly.
This season Philippe’s will once again be the place to be during opening week as they will be hosting some incredibly fun activities and giving away Dodger tickets. The world famous Petros & Money show which airs on the Dodgers radio network AM570, will be doing a live broadcast there on Friday April 1 from 3-6 PM.
That night the Dodgers will be hosting the Angels for the second game of the annual Freeway Series, and Petros and Money will be teaming up with Philippe’s to give away a pair of tickets to the game to one lucky Dodger fan.

Petros & Money airs every Monday through Friday from 3-7 PM on the Dodger’s flagship radio station AM570. Petros & Money are well known to be huge Dodger fans themselves. This will be the second time the show has live aired from Philippe’s restaurant. The show will be live broadcasted and streamed online as well.
The Petros & Money show will be hosting a giveaway that will hand out a pair of tickets to the Dodgers Angels game on Friday April 1. The legendary restaurant will also have other fun activities on hand which include Bud Light girls, and other giveaways.
Speaking of other giveaways, Philippe’s will be hosting a second ticket giveaway before the Dodger’s home opener on Tuesday April 12th. While the Dodgers are hosting the Arizona Dbacks, you can win a pair of Dodger tickets. That morning the eatery will be holding a raffle, and the winner will be given a pair of tickets to a future game. The winner or winners will be drawn and announced on the restaurant’s social media sites the following day. The party begins that morning at 9:30 AM.
So why not join in on the fun? You can check out more information on Philippe’s site below. Also check out the restaurant’s social media pages as well for all of the latest updates. Best get down to Philippe’s before someone else wins those Dodger tickets. Or before I eat all of the French dips.
I still need to try this place! I’ve only lived here since 1977?
I work 5 minutes from that location, 5 minute walk that is, and still haven’t eaten there. Maybe free tickets will finally get me inside that place.
