Good news for the Dodgers, Andrew Toles and his fans. Tolesy has reported to Camelback Ranch after a long absence due to personal issues. Welcome back, Tolesy!

Toles has 2 chances of ever wearing a Dodger uni in the majors again. Slim and none. They do not need him.
I agree. Am standing by my prediction that he never wears a Dodger uniform again.
There are thousands of young players wanting an invite to spring training and here is one that after 4 months of off season was not ready to partake in spring training in preparation for the season.
And still, no one is saying officially why he had been MIA.
On a brighter note and someone that actually prepared for this baseball season, can Bellinger win the triple crown?
I think it will be all about BA. Can he lead the league in BA?
The Dodgers ended last April eight games out of first place, on their way to their second consecutive World Series.
They ended this April as the first major league team to 20 wins.
Yep..but it is never easy with these guys. Turner hit his first homer of the year and they raked against the Giant bullpen, er, Brach. He gave up 7 runs. Freese’s homer to right barely made it. Beatty got his first big league hit.
Ugh on Tolesy. I really loved his story, his energy and play but whatever is going on with him it couldn’t have happened to him at a worse time.
Hope he ends up with another team and a shot at becoming a regular big leaguer. If he does it will be among the unlikeliest starts in MLB history.
Jayson Stark says:
THE NL WEST: The Dodgers are so deep and so talented, they feel like they’re on cruise control, waiting around for October, but they still seem poised to run away from this pack. They lead the league in runs scored. They’re on pace to hit 263 homers, which would obliterate the franchise record.
Regular season records and such are of little value compared to a WS ring.
I’m finding that most teams are relatively weak, not just the NL West. Looks like maybe 5 clubs or less in all of baseball could legitimately have a shot at a ring, the other clubs are just cannon fodder
Agree.
Good teams are harder and harder to find.
Makes the current run even more impressive.
After being totally embarrassed and out managed by one of the worse teams in baseball, the Dodgers, seeing blood, come back for a old fashioned, slap down, butt kicking, “#AngryWin” (#CespedesFamilyBBQ)!
Even CT3 got in on the action! Fat Ninja Freese all fired up, and JT finally getting his first HR of the season. Bellinger still the hottest bat, and Barnes and Kiké stepping up, big time. Dodgers mount 10 hits (3 HR’s), along with 5 free passes, for a total of 10 runs. An offensive barrage that insured Buehler’s 3rd win…. Maeda saying, “Where were the runs for me?” Floro (Still 0.0 ERA) and Garcia seal the deal.
No need to manage when team is on autopilot. Love those games when team is firing on all cylinders. This keeps DR’s coin flip decisions out of the equation.
How about an “Angry Series Sweep”! Build up momentum for trip to San Diego.
Sad note on Pollock’s injury situation. “BUT”, how could the FO take a chance, and sign a player with a documented history of medical issues to a $55M/4 yr contract? Seems that the Snakes “hissed” at the thought of resigning him. I’m sure the D-Backs chuckled when the Dodgers signed him to that enormous contract. When will the Dodgers FO learn. They just seem so willing to throw away $$Millions$$ of dollars.
With OF roster spot now open, it would be nice if Toles was ready to return. I like Toles, but, OF is strong, even (stronger) without Pollock, and also, I seriously doubt if the Dodgers are ready to bring Toles back. They probably are grooming him in Camelback for possible trade.
