This Dodgers-Padres Series is the Most Important One Yet – A Youtube Video

The Dodgers begin a series tonight against the San Diego Padres that is the most critical and consequential of this young season. In this Youtube video I’ll tell you why I believe this is the time for the Dodgers to break out or break their backs in Padres country.

Also included is a beer review from Pizza Port Brewing: Bacon and Eggs, a coffee porter. Enjoy!

I was born in the shadow of Dodger Stadium and immediately drenched in Dodger Blue. Chavez Ravine is my baseball cathedral, Vin Scully was the golden voice of summer all my life, and Tommy Lasorda remains the greatest Dodgers manager ever. My favorite things are coffee, beer, and the Dodgers beating the Giants. I also blog about my baseball card hobby at All Trade Bait, All the Time.

  1. Matt Kemp!

I guess batting Kemp at number 5 and Bellinger at number 4 is having some effect after all. Didn’t everyone on this blog suggest this right after spring training?

I still hate Grandal ahead of Puig – that is a GIDP waiting to happen.

  2. Package!!!! Bro I heard you scream when the Strap batted for the one who had already hit a 2 run dinger and the rally killer grounded in to a double play.

Yeah, a single and a 3 run HR. You have no idea how much I now hate Roberts. This guy is a true DUMMY!!

  3. Details Details. My bad. Strap looks like a deer in the headlights. What is with the staring and ogling the barrel. Creepy. When he was tearing up AAA they made room for him and he was a spark, then the all star game and the rest is history. He is is still around…. Why?????
Corey and Cody have earned the right to stick around after they were given the opportunity, Strap needs to go down and let another deserving player come up.

I guess Roberts has no feel for what that does to Kemp. Sometimes I think he does it so Matt won’t get to comfortable. I bet if Joc started hitting he would stay in LF ALL the time. Roberts would just say that Joc is feeling it or something. He is a JERK!!!

  4. Okay so I just finished a Big Slice of humble pie. After his first two swings and that at-bat I thought there was no way he was going to knock that thing out. But he did did a hell of a good job. He’s playing good let’s hope he can keep it up. By the way Humble Pie does not taste very good
