Despite thousands of hate mail, dozens of death threats, (I joke about the death threats) and thousands of passive aggressive insults from Bluto, LADR has persevered over the years. This is the ninth year since I launched LADR. This is not the first time that the site has been recognized in Feedspot’s top 25 list — 25 Best LA Dodgers Blogs and Websites in 2025. Feedspot creates lists of the top blogs/sites on the internet, and they have had a top 25 Dodgers blogs list for a while now. This time around LADR was ranked as number 18. At one point we were in the top ten, believe it or not. We’ll take a top 20 spot though. Nothing to scoff at there. Oscar would have been proud.
Naturally the big corporate sites like Dodgers Nation and Trueblue LA, who do a much better job of documenting the minutiae of the Dodgers than I do, occupy the number 1 and 2 spots. You can see some of the other Dodger blogs in there as well. But LADR is making a comeback. Our new writer Clay Gregory is doing a fantastic job, and I may even be bothered to write more than once or twice a month. We’re almost a month into the season and I have yet to call for anyone to be fired, or called anyone a bum. Not one. Not even Austin Barnes. That’s progress people. (until my next article…..smiles)
It’s nice to be recognized, but it’s also just nice to hear someone say something positive about something you are passionate about and have loved doing for many years. I want to extend my deepest appreciation and thank you to Feedspot. I also want to say thank you to anyone and everyone who has come over here to read, comment, post and discuss Dodgers baseball. I thank all of you, from the bottom of my heart. Even you too Bluto. Here’s to another nine years.
Scott,
Your perspective is unique and your passion resonates to those of us who have been Dodgers fans for a long time. Keep up the good work.
Thank you Barbara,
I appreciate you saying this.
