The Dodgers have the day off, but your intrepid LADR reporters are still bringing you news, updates and opinion!
In today’s video:
Updates on Cody Bellinger and Adrian Gonzalez, with opinion on Forsythe, Yu Darvish and others.
Also a Beer Review: Foam Top from Beachwood Brewing. Enjoy and don’t forget to “like”! That way we know you’re watching and it helps LADRs videos to gain visibility.
I was born in the shadow of Dodger Stadium and immediately drenched in Dodger Blue. Chavez Ravine is my baseball cathedral, Vin Scully was the golden voice of summer all my life, and Tommy Lasorda remains the greatest Dodgers manager ever. My favorite things are coffee, beer, and the Dodgers beating the Giants. I also blog about my baseball card hobby at All Trade Bait, All the Time.

I wish you had a way to watch the team, all the time!
I wasn’t able to see the games until after the season began last year, because I wasn’t able to get TWC at my house, we could only get Charter, in my area.
I was so glad that Charter took over TWC, and almost immediately they started showing the Dodgers.
I use to watch the MLB show, and they would show live into games, but those guys, didn’t always go to the Dodger games, at the right time, especially if they were talking among themselves, or about their former baseball careers, so I do understand what you are going through!
I wouldn’t know what I would do, if I was in that area of Texas, God bless them all!
It is terrible with all those snakes and other critters, in the water.
I feel bad that a policeman died, trying to drive to help people.
I just hope that Darvish will get his new delivery down, before we go to the post season, because it has been really frustrating, having to watch Davish pitch, in his last few games.
He has to throw way to many pitches, and that isn’t good.
I used to blame the training staff, but when you sign some the people FAZ does you can’t blame trainers. Although I do think the players off season regiment needs to be monitored a lot more.
The FAZ can afford to take risks on dead roster spots as long as they spread it out in US$15m chunks and stagger the years.
Don’t look now but Howie Kendricks is on a tear since joining the Nationals. Batting .348. It’s going to be a big series when the Nationals come to town in a couple of weeks.
Valiant effort tonight. Bad bad pitch calling in the first. Throwing curves near the strike zone in Arizona is asking for trouble. Curves will hang in the heat. Old school baseball 101, maybe 102.
This is one of those games where Hill needed to be effectively wild and walk a few if he must. It’s a good thing playoffs are in autumn.
God bless Texas!
And for us poor folks the Dodgers will be on free tv tomorrow 🙂

May the Big Blue Dodger bless Texas and America. On top of all the damage, the fire ants look horrific!
In case it wasn’t mentioned earlier, 538 has a new article on how FAZ use the new DL to “get an edge.”

That article also mentions how we’ve more “real injuries” (60 day DL) than anyone. We’ve had steadily increasing DLs for the last 3 years.

I saw Howie also make a big misplay, in the outfield too.
We play the Nats on the road this time.
I wish Grandal wasn’t hitting fourth again tonight!
He strikes out to much wat to much,to bat fourth, I think I rather have Puig hit fourth tonight, he doesn’t strike out as much.
But Corey is off tonight, and I think he needs that extra time tonight, because he has looked a little tired.
And his legs got tired last year, at the end of the season, even before the post season.
I guess he has had an issue with his elbow for a while now, that probably explains why he has not put up the same power numbers, this month..
Uh, we go there Yueh. They have already been to LA this year. It is a 3 game series in DC followed by 4 in Philly.

I prefer Boston Lager in any form to that crap they serve at Dodger Stadium.
