Dodger’s manager Dave Roberts stopped by the Jim Rome show to talk about scoreboard watching during a division race during the end of the season. The Dodgers are certainly doing a lot of that down the stretch as they battle the stupid Giants for the NL West. Personally I don’t enjoy scoreboard watching. I would rather the Dodgers win the division by at least 10 games. But hey everyone is different. Enjoy the clip below (with audio link) and check out the full show on the Jim Rome website.
If the Dodgers would have just taken care of their own business, things would have worked out. The way the Gnats and Cards are playing, it is obvious they are not scoreboard watching. If you win, you have absolutely no need to look at the scoreboard to see what the Dodgers are doing, unless they need a little comic relief. They are probably laughing their asses off, seeing the Dodgers struggle and lose to the bottom feeders.
Dodgers better look out, because you can bet your ass that the eliminated Pads will just love to be the team that knocks the Dodgers out of the Western Division title race, and forces them to play a one game playoff against the red hot Cards.
