Dodger’s Slugger Max Muncy Talks Cody Bellinger on The Jim Rome Show

The Dodger’s slugger Max Muncy was recently on the Jim Rome show. Muncy is having a fine season but the topic of conversation was about Cody Bellinger’s 2019 MVP campaign. Of course Young Cody is leading MLB in just about every single offensive category. Bellinger has blossomed into a super star before our very eyes and even Muncy is amazed by his incredible season. Muncy discussed this with Jim Rome. He called Bellinger a “generational talent”. Check out the video clip below. Here is a link to the full Interview.

  1. Excellent hitting against Diaz in the late innings. Bellinger with the controls swing for the double. Beatty refusing to go down on strikes and Verdugo just taking a pitch he can handle and not try too hard. This is Dodgers baseball!

I get a good feeling when Verdugo is at the plate and there’s a man on third with less than two outs. That run is coming in.

  2. We have the PPP to thank for the dramatic comeback. If the PPP hadn’t been so ineffective, we would never have witnessed the Dodgers batters aborting the efforts of our fine Planned Parenthood Pen. Just when I thought that I had nothing to thank our bullpen for, the Dodgers bats changed that. Thank you PPP, you are the tablesetters.

Now the question is, can the Dodgers bats overcome the PPP against playoff teams? I think not.

Dodgers just traded for Mets closer, Edwin Diaz. Andrew Friedman says Diaz with be a perfect fit for our bullpen.

    1. True, Stop saying stuff like that because I believe it and it scares the hell out of me.Ha!

      1. Package, the reason it scares the hell out of you is because you know that with this FO it is totally possible they would make a deal for Diaz. Plus you know it is totally possible for Friedman to come and then tell you that Diaz would be a perfect fit for the bullpen (and he would believe it). Again I say, the Dodgers have a great record in spite of DR and the OF not because of Bert and the FO. But can the players overcome the management when the real season begins in October? Under the current arrangement, no chance.

        Peace and Love my brethren

        1. Hello, True Blue. We know one thing for sure, and that is if Freidman continues to simply dumpster dive for BP help, and then if Roberts continues to mis manage every BP piece in site, both he and Freidman will have to bring those dumpster pieces home with them come October. And that’s because Dodgers will be watching the PS at home due to the biggest neglect on this team.

          1. Joe Kelly apparently is not listening to Honeycutt and yet Roberts continues to put him in. Roberts is showing way too much patience with Kelly.

  3. I am starting to wonder why Beaty stays in the lineup? Looks like he is prone to the DP. Besides is he really needed?
