MLB Cut4 Names Matt Kemp Most Fashionable All-Star

Matt Kemp

The annual MLB all-star break begins on Monday with the always exciting home run derby. This year’s all-star game is taking place at National’s Park in Washington D.C. scheduled for Tuesday night. There are always a flurry of festivities and hoopla that surrounds the all-star game. It seems the game has taken on the persona of a gala award show with a red carpet and players being evaluated for their fashion instead of their hitting or pitching abilities.

Truth be told I’m joking. There isn’t really a red carpet gala for the MLB all-star game. However there is a secret behind the scenes fashion battle between players. They may not reveal anything to the general public about the competition but the players do compete against each other to see who can create the best ensemble. So which player dresses the best? Who is the most fashionable? Who’s looking the most GQ? This is something that I absolutely don’t care about, but MLB Cut4 certainly does. They’ve actually assembled a top 40 list of the most stylish and fashion savvy all-stars.

You have your everyday looks on the countdown. For instance polo shirts, button ups have players looking dapper in casual wear. You have your suits, leather jackets and warm weather attire. There are also a few unique outfits, such as Freddie Freeman’s Willy Wonka look. The lone Dodger on the list tops the countdown at number one. Guess who that is?

You guessed it, our very own Bison, Matt Kemp. The slugging outfielder is the most stylish GQ looking all-star topping Bryce Harper, Mookie Betts and Cleveland’s Francisco Lindor who came in at number 2. Kemp’s photos show him in modeling poses using his infamous blue steel look. Of course Kemp has dabbled in the modeling arena before. I think we all remember these photos from his 2012 gap photo shoot. Kudos to Kemp! Keep on strutting your stuff on the catwalk Matty. As Tim Gunn would say…..Make it work!
