Dodgers Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman Slated To Participate in ALA’s Champions Unite Supporting Lung Health

When you can’t breath, nothing matters. That’s the motto of the American Lung Association (ALA) and this year’s event will feature Dodgers All-stars Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman. Every year the ALA hosts an annual talent competition to support lung health. Professional athletes from multiple major sports will be participating with former athletes and broadcasters serving as hosts. The annual talent show is called Champions Unite and this is their third season raising awareness for lung health.

This season’s talent show will be televised on SportnetLA and the winners will be voted on and decided by you. Eric Karros, Tony Gwynn Jr. and former Lakers star Robbert Horry are just a few of the hosts this season. Some of the off-field talent not only includes Mookie and Freddie but also will include Charger’s quarterback Justin Herbert, Lakers guard Austin Reaves, Kobie Turner of the Rams, and much more. This is the only talent show to benefit clean air and healthy lungs in Southern California. The show will be held on Thursday September 21 at 8:00 PM PST.
